Little Man Cake

I am just too excited about today’s post!  Over time, I’ve been dreaming of making a cake like this.  This theme works great with baby showers, 1st birthday’s and even an older boys birthday party.  So to follow the theme we made a Little Man mustache & bow tie cake. We iced this 2 tier cake with teal and white fondant to great with a bow tie and also added mustache on the top tier with the boys name just above it. The birthday boy’s age (ONE having a hat on the 'O' and mustache on the 'E') was used has a topper for this cute themed cake that everyone would love. This adorable Little Man cake is perfect for your little gentleman (complete with future mustache)! Are you having a gender reveal party, pregnancy reveal party, birthday party, or baby shower? The Making of 5 Tiers Wedding Cake

I want to share pictures of how this 5 tiers wedding cake was made. Please like. comment and share!!! This cake is made up of 3 square tiers at the bottom and 2 round tiers on top with a bouquet of roses on the top of it to complement the set-up. The cake was made from Nigerian Wedding Cake Recipe with mixed fruit (recipe coming soon). First of all, the roses were made and kept in egg crates to air dry. DRY FONDANT PANELING

This post is the summarized tips on how to make dry fondant panels As the name implies, dry fondant panelling is the method in which the sides of cakes are covered with dry fondant panels. The dry panelling method is used for cakes with sharp angles like boxes or cubes. It involves making the fondant panels ahead of time, leaving them to dry and then sticking them to the sides of the frosted cake. The dry fondant panels could be stuck directly on the frosting or you could drape the cake with a layer of fondant before placing the panels. Below are a few tips for successful dry fondant paneling: i. The panels need to be made ahead of time ii. Before cutting the panels, you must have an idea of the measurement of your cake tier, especially the sides and height of the cake. iii. The panels should always be bigger than the cake tier. iv. Avoid using very soft fondant when creating your panels. v. Always cut your panels on the drying surface. vi. When frosting your cake,
